Sunday Movie Matinee

A devoted dog discovers the meaning of its own existence through the lives of the humans it teaches to laugh and love.  

In this classic comedy, newscaster Evan Baxter leaves Buffalo behind when he wins a seat in Congress.  Moving his wife and family to northern Virginia, he seems to be thrown into a crisis of biblical proportions.  Preparing for a flood, he builds and ark and gathers up all the animals.

Los Angeles journalist Benjamin Mee decides to make a fresh start by quitting his job and buying an 18-acre property containing the Rosemoor Wildlife Park.  With many animals still making Rosemoor home, Mee opens his heart and checkbook to reopen the zoo.
